Counting to one hundred, a duck, and trampoline

Milo has been running to the backyard as soon as his feet touch the ground getting off the bus! We got a trampoline two days ago and it's been great fun for Milo and his brothers.

When he came in for a snack today he told me that he worked on math at school today. He practiced counting to 100 on counting paper.

Sam got a duckling from our beekeeper friend, Jerry. Milo thinks Alphonse the duck is pretty cool!

New food at school

Milo is quite the picky eater. Today at school however he tried baked beans and loved them!

He was excited I go back to school today after spring break. He is eager to work and learn.

Reading, writing, and math homeschool

Milo has read all of the books in a bag that we picked up before spring break from his classroom. Mrs. Brehm gave us a stack of books to read and other materials for practicing writing and math.

Milo loves playing the game racing bears. We have also been doing work on the website ixl.com. He has gone up to level B.4.

Counting at school

Milo got off the bus saying he had a great morning at school. I would like Milo to work on checking his cubby for homework and bringing home a new book in a bag to read at home.

He was proud to show us his counting project!

Don't throw away my papers!

Milo was quite upset that I wanted to throw away his homework. Despite taking pictures and putting them on his blog he still insisted that he keep his paper work :)

Writing numbers

Milo has been eager to work on writing his numbers. He has worked hard and shown great improvement!

He has been home sick from school for the last two days with a cold but has still worked on reading sight words and writing numbers.

In the morning he put his latest set of numbers in his backpack, eager to show Mrs. Brehm.

Later in the day he sat down to practice again. He said that eights are funner than fives and proceeded to write his numbers on both the front and backs of the pages in the photo below.
