Life cycle of a frog

 Milo learned about the life cycle of a frog at block class today.  Miss Lesley was gone today so he got to join another classroom.

Experiments and opposites with Donna

Donna came over today and we did an experiment with food coloring and we mixed the colors to make new colors. We also put strips of paper towel that had a different colored lines drawn on each strip into a plastic bag and we added about 12 drops of water. We watched the water mix with the marker and get wicked up the towel. We saw that the pigments separated back out.

We also talked about opposites and I made a book of opposites. Large and small. High and low.

I Drew an apple

Donna came over this morning. I drew three apples. A whole apple, the apple with bits taken out, and the apple core.

We also wrote a story.

Milo With the angry bird launcher

We went to high V and target today.
I took pictures of pumpkins and and an angry birds launcher.

Milo went to block class on Wednesday.   He is in the kindergarten and first grade class.  Milo is in first grade this year.

Dentist in Iowa city

We traveled to Iowa city yesterday and all four boys had teeth cleanings NF check ups at the dentist at the university.
Milo has a few cavities. He will go back sometime this month to have them filled. Milo was excited to make this trip and was mellow and cooperative through the whole visit.

We stopped and had snacks at a rest stop afterwards.
