I Drew an apple

Donna came over this morning. I drew three apples. A whole apple, the apple with bits taken out, and the apple core.

We also wrote a story.

Milo With the angry bird launcher

We went to high V and target today.
I took pictures of pumpkins and and an angry birds launcher.

Milo went to block class on Wednesday.   He is in the kindergarten and first grade class.  Milo is in first grade this year.

Dentist in Iowa city

We traveled to Iowa city yesterday and all four boys had teeth cleanings NF check ups at the dentist at the university.
Milo has a few cavities. He will go back sometime this month to have them filled. Milo was excited to make this trip and was mellow and cooperative through the whole visit.

We stopped and had snacks at a rest stop afterwards.

Handstand

Milo jumped up and down,clapped, and high fived everyone when he was successful at doing a headstand! He had a huge smile on his face!

Toontastic App with Donna

Donna, our visiting home instruction teacher,  comes over every other week to work with Milo and Sam.  Today she introduced Milo to the Toontastic ipad app.   It is a storytelling and animation app.
We discovered that the app is free and downloaded it for the boys as the enjoyed it so much with Donna.

Reading and yoga

Today we tried out the Spectrum K reading workbook. Milo was engaged and successful. I am gauging where he is in his reading. He seems to have a solid grasp of letter identification and the sounds they make.

He did a Cosmic Kids yoga from YouTube and we also painted leaves to add to our word tree. He chose "with" and "the" for his words to work on.
